                          A person who works as a medical scribe documents patient interactions with medical professionals. In order to record the visit as the healthcare provider engages with the patient, a scribe will enter the exam room with them. The patient's history, physical exam findings, lab results, prescriptions, treatments, medical orders, and any notes that are spoken dictated by the healthcare provider in real time must all be recorded by the scribe.
