What is Medical Scribing ?
MEDICAL SCRIBING
Medical scribing is a profession in which a person, typically a medical scribe, records in-depth notes about doctor-patient interactions or talks, including medical history, physical exam results, treatments, drugs, and more. Because medical scribing relieves doctors of the administrative load of taking and keeping these notes, it is a field that is expanding.
To provide aspiring medical scribes with the knowledge and abilities needed to precisely record and maintain patient health information, training and certification programmes in medical scribing have been developed. A solid basis in medical knowledge, including anatomy and physiology, legislation, and ethics, is also given to scribes in these courses. Medical scribes often need to pass an exam to get certified after finishing a course for that purpose.
